2 New Dollies!

Today I went to Target and got 2 new dolls.  I got a Life in the Dreamhouse Midge doll and an Amusement Park Skipper doll.  They are totes adorbs!

 Photogenic!
 Oooh!
 Aaah!

Midge
 Front
She is fully articulated!  This is my first fully articulated doll.  Loving the shoes!
She has beautiful rooted eyelashes and a vintage-ish face.
 ~The outfit~
Articulated arm and a cute little bracelet.
The back.  I love her hair!
Ooooooooh!!!!!!!  You can pose her so many different ways.  Her body is very similar to the Fashionista bodies.
The skirt and shirt are attached, but nothing else is.
She has pretty earrings, a necklace, AND a bracelet!

Skipper
 Hehe, i'm swinging!
 front
The shoes are SO cute!  They have little bunnies on them.
I love the sparkly cotton candy!
The belt is silver and it has a star on it.  You can adjust the size of it.  The top has lollipops all over it.  The shorts are my favorite color- purple!
Hippity-hoppity bunny hat!  And a pink streak in her hair!  I really like her face.
 Without the bunny hat.
Ruth-Anne the chicken photo-bombed Skipper! (I have one more chicken named HoneyBooBoo)
 Still bombing...
 Back view!
By the way, she fits into all of my Barbie clothes.
None of her clothes are sewed together.  Yay!

That concludes my new dollies post!

Enjoy!

OMG! Babs Got Married!

Babs got married to Ken! Here is the video of her wedding.  I used my iPad 2 and Makayama movie mount (and attachments) to take the pics.  I received the Makayama movie mount for my birthday (March 15).  The first song in it is The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra.  The second song is DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love by Usher (feat. Pitbull).  I also used my green screen.  I made the green screen by taping together four large pieces of green poster board (from Walmart).  It works wonderfully!

Enjoy!

My Pugs

I have three pugs!  They are so adorable and happy all the time.  My family rescued all of them.

This is Buttercup!  She is the oldest pug.  She enjoys lounging and sleeping.  She is best friends with Cooper.  Aww :P

This is Lyndall!  She is the youngest of the pugs.  She enjoys playing with her toys and cuddling.  In this picture, she has a play-food cookie in between her paws.  She likes to play with Buttercup and Cooper often, but most of the time she plays with me.  One word: Aww!
This is Cooper!  He is a little bit younger than Buttercup.  He enjoys looking for food and being pet.  His best friend is Buttercup. Aww, he is so cute!

Antique Store Finds!

I got three wonderful items from antique stores yesterday!  I got all of them for $20, and they are ALL vintage!

Item #1
Fashion Doll Bedroom Case
 Front
 inside
Look at this cool pop-out bedroom! Loving the colors!  The pillows and bedskirts are folded over, but I will find a way to fix that small issue. There are snappy buttons to hold it closed when closing the case.
There is a cute little spot to put hangers on.  I plan to make some hangers with one of My Froggy Stuff's tutorials!
A compartment at the bottom says "Accessories".  (You can see this at the top)  Here it is open with some of Babs' accessories inside.
Calie the Barbie is here for scale!
(You can see the "Accessories" compartment here)  There are two Barbie-holding spots.  Calie is here once again for scale.

Item #2
Tropical Barbie
I was digging around in a bin full of McDonalds toys and found this beauty!
 Such long hair!
Totes adorbs!  I love her face. Very vintage! :)
 Beautiful hair!!!
I really like posing her with this hair, and the swimsuit is awesome opossum!  She needs to be repaired a little bit, so this is a "before" shot.
A close-up of her swimsuit.  It also needs some repairs on the hems.

Item #3
Malibu PJ
(I'm not sure which Malibu PJ)
Here she is! She is well loved and needs some repairs.  I founds her next to Tropical Barbie.
 Back
 She has toes!!!
I love her vintage-looking smiling face.  Her hair is in great condition and is very soft.
 I made this top.
Somebody has gotten a tan! Wow!
Love Love LOVE her face! The paint is coming off in some places on her tan and face.  She is due for a paint job!
You can see the texture of her hair well here.
Oh yes--- this is the dress/top/tunic I found her in.  Anyone know the Barbie it came on?
Here is the back.  I am thinking that it could be homemade.
It has shorts in the bottom- maybe an ice skating outfit?
I think it is homemade because it has snappy buttons.
And a cute little sequin embellishment!
Here it is on Malibu PJ.
The back- a bit ripped.  Needs repairs!
And that concludes my antique store purchases.

Enjoy!
